What to Do in Rimini at Night 2026: Aperitivo, Nightlife and Evening Walks

Rimini after dark is a different city. The same beach that fills up with sunbeds by day becomes a stage of lights, music, and life after sunset. Whether you just finished a work shift, want to go out with friends, or are spending a few evenings on the Riviera, this guide takes you to the right places — without the tourist-trap nonsense.

Aperitivo by the seaside: where to go and how much to spend

Happy hour in Rimini starts around 6:30 PM and in some places lasts until 9:00 PM. Prices have gone up, but options remain varied:

AreaSpritz priceType of venue
Marina Centro (viale Ceccarini area)€7–9Beach bar with free snacks included
Porto Canale (harbour area)€6–8Bars with boat views, relaxed atmosphere
Piazza Cavour / old town€5–7Classic Romagnolo bars, generous charcuterie boards
Rimini Sud (Marebello area)€7–10Chiringuito-style, vacation vibes

💡 Local tip: bars around Piazza Tre Martiri in the old town do aperitivo with a free buffet for €6–7. Few tourists know about them.

The seafront at night: the evening stroll

The walk along Lungomare Augusto (from Piazzale Kennedy northward) is free, always open, and absolutely worth doing at least once. In summer:

  • Ice cream shops stay open until midnight
  • Street food kiosks sell piadine and skewers until 1:00 AM
  • Live bands play every weekend in June/July/August
  • Beach establishments host parties open to non-guests

Don't miss: the stretch between bagno 26 and bagno 50 on Thursday evenings, when many establishments host seaside aperitivo events with DJs.

Where to eat at night without spending too much

Rimini has a very democratic evening food scene. You don't need to go to a formal restaurant with a cover charge and wine list — the informal options are often better.

Late-night piadinerie

Best piadinerie open late:

  • Via Tempio Malatestiano (old town) — expect queues but worth it
  • Lungomare — variable quality, higher prices, but convenient
  • Average price: €4–6 for a loaded piadina

Fish restaurants

For a decent fish dinner (€15–25 per person), head to the harbour district: Via Destra del Porto and surrounding streets have fresh fish trattorias at much more honest prices than the seafront strip.

Street food and evening markets

From June to August, Rimini's seafront hosts evening markets with street food, crafts, and live music. On Tuesdays and Thursdays in the Marina Centro area there are stalls open until 11:00 PM.

Nightlife: clubs, bars, and live music

Rimini is historically Italy's nightlife capital. Even though some legendary clubs have closed, the scene remains vibrant:

Main clubs

ClubAreaMusicEntry
Altromondo StudiosRimini northTechno / House / EDM€15–25
BountyRimini (beach area)Commercial / 80s–90s€10–18
Villa delle RoseMisano (15 min)House / Commercial€15–25
Peter PanMisanoCommercial dance€12–20

⚠️ Entry prices vary significantly depending on the night and guest DJs. Always check the venues' social media pages before going — guest lists with reduced entry are often available.

Alternatives to clubbing

  • Bars with live music: especially in the old town on weekends, many bars host acoustic concerts or jam sessions until 1:00 AM
  • Open-air cinema: from June to August, Rimini has evening screenings at Piazza Malatesta and various beach establishments
  • Themed evenings at the lidos: every beach establishment has its own events calendar — aperitivi, beach parties, sunset yoga

The old town at night

Rimini's old town at night is massively underrated. Few tourists explore it, but it's worth every step:

Must-see stops

  1. Arco d'Augusto illuminated (free, always open) — one of the best-preserved Roman structures in Italy
  2. Ponte di Tiberio at night — the reflection in the water is one of Rimini's most beautiful views
  3. Piazza Tre Martiri — the heart of locals' evening life, with bars and venues open late
  4. Castel Sismondo — often hosts evening summer events and exhibitions
  5. Teatro Galli — if you're lucky, there's something on

Borgo San Giuliano neighbourhood

This small fishermen's quarter, with its murals and colourful alleyways, is stunning to explore in the evening. The small restaurants and bars here have a completely different atmosphere from the seafront.

Rimini at night with children

Rimini is one of the few Italian seaside cities where evening life is accessible to families too:

  • Artisan ice cream shops along the seafront are open until midnight
  • Playgrounds near the beach often host free evening shows
  • Evening markets are ideal for family strolls
  • Fiabilandia has special evening openings on some weekends in July and August

Getting around Rimini at night

Public transport

  • Line 11 (Metromare): connects Rimini station with Riccione until around midnight
  • Start Romagna buses: some lines run until 11:00–11:30 PM in summer
  • Night bus: in summer there are late-night shuttles (check startromagna.it for current schedules)

Taxis and private hire

  • Taxi Rimini: +39 0541 50020
  • Uber / Bolt: available with variable coverage
  • Indicative fare station–seafront: €8–12

Practical tips

  • Evening parking: the Via Pascoli car park (near the old town) is free after 8:00 PM
  • Don't drink and drive: breathalyser checks are frequent in summer
  • Bikes are the best way to move between the seafront and the old town

FAQ

How much does a night out in Rimini cost? Depends on the type of evening. Just a walk and ice cream: €5–8. Aperitivo and piadina: €15–20. Dinner at a restaurant plus clubbing: €50–80.

Is Rimini safe at night? The old town and the seafront are busy and safe. As in any city, watch out for pickpockets in very crowded areas. The area around the train station requires more caution late at night.

What's the best night for Rimini nightlife? Friday and Saturday are the absolute peaks. Thursday is the "locals' night" — fewer tourists, more authenticity. Sunday evening is surprisingly lively in peak season.

Do clubs open every night of the week? No. Most open Thursday, Friday and Saturday. In August some open on Wednesday and Sunday too. Always check updated social media pages.

Is there anything to do in the evening in low season? Yes. The old town has bars and restaurants open year-round. Some themed evenings at city centre venues run even in winter.
