Argillà Italia 2026 – International Ceramics Festival

Argillà Italia is one of Europe's most important ceramics festivals, held every two years in the heart of Faenza — the city that gave its name to «faience» worldwide. The 2026 edition runs from 4 to 6 September in the historic centre, welcoming over 200 selected ceramists from across the globe who exhibit their work directly in the streets, courtyards, and squares. The programme includes the Mondial Tornianti, the world pottery-throwing championship, traditional kiln firing demonstrations, workshops for children and adults, and a market showcasing unique pieces available to purchase directly from master ceramists. An extraordinary event that turns Faenza into an open-air museum, celebrating one of Romagna's oldest craft traditions. Free admission; some educational workshops are ticketed.
