Ferrara Buskers Festival 2026

The Ferrara Buskers Festival is the world's largest street music festival: every August, for five days, over 800 artists from more than 50 countries turn Ferrara's medieval historic centre into an open-air stage. From classical music to jazz, flamenco to African percussion, contemporary circus to street theatre — every alley, square, and corner of the UNESCO World Heritage city comes alive with sound and performance. The 2026 edition runs from 26 to 30 August, with a preview show in Comacchio on 23 August. Admission is completely free: audiences show their appreciation with a traditional «hat» contribution to the performers. The festival attracts over 800,000 spectators from across Europe each year, making it one of the unmissable summer events in Romagna.
