Now in its 19th edition, the Festival delle Culture in Ravenna is one of Italy's most important multidisciplinary events dedicated to journalism, photography, literature, cinema, and theatre. From 16 April to 20 June 2026, Ravenna's historic centre transforms into a distributed stage hosting exhibitions, screenings, author talks, readings, and performances. The guiding theme of the 2026 edition is «Telling the World»: an invitation to explore the narratives that shape our understanding of global reality — from the climate crisis to migration, from conflicts to emerging democracies. Expected participants include leading international journalists, world-renowned photographers, writers, and directors who bear witness to the most complex places on the planet. All events are open to the public, most with free admission.
